Operation against Lashkar-e-Jhangvi: Security forces kill 22 terrorists

Shiite News: According to Pakistani media, according to a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), on December 6 and 7, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Gul Imam area of Tank district on information about the presence of terrorists. During this operation, the forces targeted the hideouts of the terrorists, as a result of which 9 Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists were killed and 6 were injured.

In another operation conducted by security forces in North Waziristan district, 10 Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists were killed.

In the third operation, security forces foiled an attempt by Khawarij to attack a security forces post in Thull district and killed 3 Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists. However, 6 security personnel were martyred during the heavy exchange of fire.

The ISPR said that a clearance operation is underway in the area to eliminate any more terrorists.
