Shiite News: The phase of Shia Ulema Council Central Punjab elections has been completed. The members of the Provincial Council elected Syed Sajid Hussain Shah as the provincial president by a majority vote.

The provincial council meeting was held at Jamia Minhaj-ul-Hussain Jauhar Town, in which the duties of the election commission were performed by Central Vice President Moazzam Ali Baloch. After the first phase of the election held in Faisalabad on November 10, Sajid Hussain Shah and Qasim Ali Qasmi were candidates for the presidency of Central Punjab.

Central Vice President Allama Sibtain Haider Sabzwari took oath as the newly elected president. Speaking on the occasion, Syed Sajid Hussain Shah said that the Shia Ulema Council is a divine organization, whose leadership has always struggled for the security of the country and national dignity. The foundation of this organization includes the blood of thousands of martyrs, including Shaheed Quaid Allama Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini.

He said that he will work as a lowly worker of Quaid-e-Millat Jafariya Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi. He will leave the old ways and run the organization in a modern way, for which seniors will also be consulted.

Allama Sibtain Sabzwari said that elections are not about anyone’s victory or defeat, everyone should play their role in national affairs. Serve the people according to the policies of Quaid-e-Millat Jafariya and become the hands and feet of the leadership. The position is nothing, the real responsibility is to fulfill the requirements of the position.

Qasim Ali Qasmi garlanded the newly elected president and congratulated him and said that according to the constitution of the organization, the election of Sajid Hussain Shah in the elections is welcome. He will be the representative of Quaid-e-Millat Jafariya in central Punjab and we will go with him.
