Protest rallies across country against Parachinar tragedy, demanded resignation of CM Gandapur

Shiite News: Several people were martyred in an attack on passenger vehicles in Parachinar.

Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen observed a day of protest against the Takfiri elements and security agencies, federal and provincial governments involved in the tragedy.

Protest rallies were held in all cities across the country.

Lakhs of people participated in protest rallies in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Islamabad, Larkana, Gilgit-Baltistan and demanded the arrest of the killers.

The leaders of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen and Imamia Students Organization took the stand that the protest movement will continue until the killers are arrested.

Innocent children, women and youth were brutally killed under a well-planned conspiracy.

Chief Minister of KP Ali Amin Gandapur should resign for his negligence. The speakers described the Parachinar tragedy as a failure of the federal and provincial governments and law enforcement agencies and said that the FC personnel assigned to security are responsible for this incident.

This is no less than a small doomsday, every eye is filled with tears, the Shia and Sunni people of Pakistan should raise their voices of protest against the tragedy.

We demand that the government of Pakistan declare the incident a national tragedy, form a judicial commission for a transparent investigation, and expose the facilitators.

One tragedy after another is a failure of the law enforcement agencies. The state has completely failed to establish its writ.

We demand that the political and military leadership come together to formulate a joint national action plan, so that the region can be protected from this menace. If this sectarian riot is not stopped, the entire region will be engulfed.
