Pakistani Ambassador in Iraq assures to build Pakistan House in Karbala soon
Shiite News: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik Hussain met with Pakistani Ambassador to Iraq Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmed.
In the meeting, various measures were discussed to provide maximum facilities to pilgrims going to Iraq.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that the Pilgrims Management Policy was approved by the federal cabinet in April 2021.
The main objective of the policy is to provide maximum facilities to Pakistani pilgrims.
The draft of the MoU between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Iraq has been sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain directed to sign an MoU with the Iraqi government as soon as possible regarding the provision of facilities to pilgrims. Under the MoU, maximum facilities can be provided to Pakistani pilgrims in Iraq.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain directed to complete the establishment of Pakistan House and the Directorate of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Karbala as soon as possible and said that the Pakistani government is determined to provide maximum facilities to pilgrims.
Steps are being taken to provide maximum facilities to pilgrims on the occasion of Muharram, Safar and Arbaeen.
The Pakistani ambassador suggested increasing the number of Pakistani welfare attaches in Iraq.
