Ministry of Religious Affairs pens letter to PTA to remove profane content from internet

Shiite News: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has written to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to remove obscene and pornographic content from online platforms.

The letter stated that the continued presence of obscene content on online platforms is worrisome. The Supreme Court has already issued orders to the PTA to remove such content.

The letter said that the PTA should use all means to take steps to remove the indecent material immediately. Online availability of pornography and obscene material is damaging moral values in the society.

It further said that PTA should take immediate action to block pornography, obscenity and other immoral content.
