Crackdown of 19 Seminaries Across Sindh‏

Nineteen Seminaries across Sindh were sealed against terrorist involvement par National Action Plan on Wednesday.

Details reveal that law enforcement agencies upon getting approval from Apex Committee sealed nineteen (19) seminaries across Sindh with all their documents and records on emergency basis. The raids were intel-based with information against seminaries being terror-affiliates prior known. Details of 48 seminaries were put forth in a meeting of apex committee on Sunday, to which the committee ordered an immediate crackdown. Records reveal that the seminaries were getting annually billions in rupees, later to be used for terrorism.

Security agencies are probing to pin point exact sources of the funds whereas details of the crackdown have been sent to Interior Ministry and NACTA.
