CTD kills 7 terrorists of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi

Shiite News: According to sources from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), a major anti-terrorism operation was carried out by CTD on the Radsham National Highway in Musakhel district of Balochistan.
During this, an exchange of fire took place between the security forces and the terrorists, as a result of which three terrorists belonging to the banned organization Lashkar-e-Jhangvi were killed and two were arrested. A large quantity of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of the arrested terrorists.

On the other hand, based on intelligence information, security forces carried out a successful operation in South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and killed four more terrorists, who were also said to be affiliated with the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a sanitization operation is underway to eliminate other terrorists in the area.

It is worth mentioning here that three days ago, security forces had carried out a major operation in Bannu district on intelligence input, killing eight terrorists and injuring seven.

On the same day, one Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorist was killed and another was arrested in an injured condition during an operation in Zhob district of Balochistan.
