Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi demands to declare GB as a province

Shiite News: Head of Shia Ulema Council, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has demanded the ruler to declare Gilgit Baltistan as a regular province in one of his messages on November 1 Independence Day of Gilgit Baltistan.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has said on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day of Gilgit-Baltistan that Gilgit-Baltistan is the most important and sensitive region of the country, it is the need of the hour that this region should be declared a province by giving all constitutional rights.

He further said that November 1, 1947 is the day of independence from the Dogars of Gilgit-Baltistan and loyalty to Pakistan and this day is a symbol of bravery, unity and freedom of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. He paid tribute to all national heroes who made this movement successful and liberated their land.

He further said that it is the responsibility of the rulers to take measures to ensure the provision of their fundamental rights to all citizens and take care of their legitimate needs.
