Shia killings in Parachinar for 15 years: Special Report

Shiite News: From 2007 to 2024 in Parachinar Kurram Agency, there were twenty attacks by Takfiri terrorists on the convoys/vehicles of Shiites in which more than three hundred believers were martyred.

March 2008
Armed men ambushed a government ambulance using rockets and heavy machine guns in Lower Kurram area of FATA, killing 7 people including 2 women and injuring 2 others.

The ambulance was going from Parachinar to Peshawar when the Chaphri check post was attacked.

June 2008

The passenger convoy headed by Col. Majeed and Assistant Political Agent Lower Kurram Attaur Rahman to Parachinar was handed over to the Taliban, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Sipah Sahaba at Peirgayum, Sada.

These beasts burned 4 of them alive, and the rest were brutally beheaded with stone, brick and iron cutters, saws, and their hands and feet were cut into pieces. Their sacred bodies were burned and mutilated.

April 2010

In Charkhil area of Lower Kurram Agency, militants fired on the vehicles of Shiites, killing many people and injuring many others.

July 2010
Takfiri terrorists ambushed a convoy of passenger vehicles going from Parachinar to Peshawar in Char Khel area of Kurram Agency and attacked them using heavy weapons including rocket-propelled grenades.

As a result, 18 people belonging to Parachinar were martyred while 4 were seriously injured. In this tragedy, several people were abducted, including 6 students. 2 vehicles were completely destroyed in this attack.

December 2010

Militants attacked a convoy going from Parachinar to Peshawar with the help of security forces in Chaphri area of Kurram Agency, in which many people were martyred and many were injured.

January 2011

Militants of Sipah Sahaba and Lashkar Jhangvi attacked a convoy carrying food, medicine and other goods to Parachinar at Sada and Pir Qayyum in Kurram Agency and set seven vehicles on fire, killing the drivers and Conductors were thrown alive into burning cars.

At least 13 passengers were martyred and 8 injured in an attack on a convoy of passenger vehicles going from Peshawar to Parachinar in Bagan area of Kurram Agency, while around 33 people were abducted by militants who later threw them into a well. So a total of 46 people were martyred in this attack. All the martyred persons were Shia who belonged to Parachinar.

June 21, 2022

Vehicles going from Parachinar to Peshawar were attacked by Takfiri terrorists at the FC check post at Sada Bypass, resulting in the martyrdom of Zeshan Haider (Shengag).

October 2023

A vehicle going to Parachinar was attacked on ring road Peshawar in which Arif Hussain was martyred while 4 people were injured.

October 2023

As a result of an attack on a convoy going to Parachinar in Charkhel area of Lower Karam, 4 Nasir Hussain, two brothers Abrar Hussain, Muzaffar Hussain and Syed Zamin Hussain were martyred and 6 injured.

December 2023

2 people were martyred and 5 people were injured in an attack on a passenger vehicle going to Parachinar in Hangu district. Shaheed Toqeer Sajjad and Shaheed Ijaz Hussain are among the martyred.

January 2024

In an attack by armed men on two passenger vehicles going from Parachinar to Peshawar near Sada Bazar, 4 people including a woman doctor Ruqia and driver Rehman Ali were martyred.
