Lashkar Jhangvi’s openly threats to target Shia community in Kurrram district

Shiite News: Parachinar: Attempts to disrupt communal harmony are on the rise in Kurram district. According to reports, a local man, Irshad, is allegedly associated with terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and Sipah-e-Sahaba, which are guilty of openly inciting hatred and violence against the Shia community.

According to eyewitnesses, Irshad raised anti-Shia slogans at public intersections and public events, threatened to target Shias on Tal-Parachinar road and encouraged Shia hostility.

He has tried to damage the social peace and order by calling jihad against the Shia community as a duty in his extremist speeches.

The residents of Parachinar have always played an active role in maintaining peace and cooperation with the government institutions, but sectarianism by such elements is a serious threat to the peace of the area.

Despite this situation, the district administration’s silence and lack of interest in immediate action has created serious concern among the people.
