Shia Sunni Unity: SUC leader leads congregational prayer
Shiite News: Central leader of Shia Ulema Council, Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi, met Naib Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaquat Baloch in Lahore.
Leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Ahmed Salman Baloch and others were also present on this occasion.
Issues of mutual interest and unity of the Ummah were discussed in the meeting.
On this occasion, Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch strongly condemned the Israeli aggression in Palestine and Lebanon.
Liaquat Baloch expressed his condolences to Allama Arif Wahidi on the martyrdom of Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah.
Liaquat Baloch said that if the Ummah had been united and the Muslim rulers had shown honor and faith, the situation of the oppressed people of Palestine would not have been like this today.
He said that we stand with our Palestinian brothers.
Allama Arif Wahidi said that the solution to all the problems of the Ummah lies in unity. He said that Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC) is playing an important role in this regard.
Allama Arif Wahidi said that when we rise above sectarianism and think as Ummat e Wahidah, the greatness of Muslims will gradually be restored all over the world, including Pakistan.
Later, Liaquat Baloch and other leaders offer Maghrib prayers under the Leadership of Allama Arif Wahidi.
