3 terrorists of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi killed near Nankana Interchange

Shiite News: According to CTD spokesperson, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists opened fire on the CTD team during an operation based on a tip-off near Nankana Sahib Interchange.

All three terrorists were killed by their own accomplices. CTD recovered three hand grenades, detonators, two rifles, bullets, explosives and other items from the spot.

According to CTD, terrorists were planning a major attack in Lahore which was thwarted by this operation.

Earlier, CTD Punjab had arrested Aminul Haq, a close associate of Al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden.

DIGCTD Usman Akram Gondal said that Aminul Haq, a key operative of Al-Qaeda, was detained yesterday.

The name of the arrested al-Qaeda operative is included in the list of terrorists wanted by the United States and the European Union.

DIG CTD Usman Akram Gondal further said that the CTD has started investigation into the matter while terming the arrest as an important development.

In July, CTD Punjab arrested 38 terrorists in 449 intelligence-based operations in various cities of the province.
