Terrorists involved in Shia target killing, DSP Ali Raza’s murder killed

Shiite News: During the operation of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Sher Shah area of Karachi, 2 suspects involved in the murder of DSP CTD Ali Raza were killed.

According to CTD officials, the killed terrorists have been identified as Qasim Rasheed and Usman. The terrorists along with their associates martyred DSP CTD Ali Raza in Karimabad on July 7 this year.

CTD officials said that the dead terrorists belonged to the outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, who had now joined the Tehreek-e-Taliban.

The dead terrorist Hafiz Qasim Rasheed was the new Amir of Karachi. Ahmad Hasan facilitated, 2 terrorists Naeem and Hamza involved in Reiki were arrested, terrorists Hafiz Qasim Rashid and Usman were traced from the arrested suspects.

According to the authorities, both terrorists were killed during the encounter, Kalashnikov, two pistols, three hand grenades, suicide vest, target killing list were also recovered from the dead terrorists. CTD officials said that the dead terrorist Hafiz Qasim was released from jail after 12 years, the accused was involved in more than 35 murders, attempted murders and other cases, planning to kill DSP Ali Raza several months ago.

A reward of Rs 50 lakh was announced for anyone who helps in arresting the dead terrorists.

It should be remembered that in July this year, two assailants on a motorcycle fired at DSP Ali Raza’s car in Karachi’s Karimabad area, as a result of which Ali Raza and his bodyguard were seriously injured.

Both were immediately shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where both succumbed to their injuries.
