News from Kurram are distressing, Allama Sajid Naqvi
Shiite News: Head of Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi termed the growing tension in Kurram district as very alarming and once again attracted the federal and provincial governments towards immediate measures and said that the news coming every day coming from Kurram Valley are very painful and presenting a picture of a grim situation.
Any further delay will have adverse effects on the restoration of peace. He expressed these views while discussing the situation in Kurram district with various personalities.
The news of increasing tension and loss of human lives in Pewar, Teri Mangal, Kunj Alizai, Kharkali and other areas of Kurram district is very distressing and presents the dire situation of the area.
There are also reports of disconnection of the area from the provincial capital due to this tension.
In such a situation, the federal and provincial governments should immediately take notice without delay and take serious steps to restore peace.
Other measures should be taken including the restoration of roads so that the whole province including the region could be saved and negative effects can be avoided.
Therefore, we are repeatedly appealing to the authorities to pay serious attention to this issue and take proactive measures to prevent any further crisis.
