Shiite News: For the first time in the 52-year organizational history of the Imamia Students Organization Pakistan, the main convention is going to be held outside Lahore.

According to the sources, the interim decision to hold the convention was taken in the recent meeting held in Bahawalpur.

Since the inception of ISO Pakistan, all conventions have been held in Lahore. ISO used to hold its main convention at Jamia Al Muntazar in Model Town Lahore earlier.

After organizational differences, the convention was held for some time at the Jamia in Pak Arab Society, while for some time the ceremonies of the main convention continued to be held at the mausoleum of the founder, Shaheed Dr. Muhammad Ali Naqvi.

However, due to the non-availability of a suitable venue in Lahore, it has been decided to hold the convention in Islamabad.

According to sources, ISO has also decided to build its own center for conventions and other organizational functions, which is in progress.

Sources say that the organizers also contacted the administration of Jamia tul Muntazar and Jamia Muhammadi Masjid Gulberg, but due to the expected high participation of the participants, the management of both the places apologized.

The management of both the places is of the view that it is difficult to make arrangements for such a large number of participants, while the space in both the places may be reduced due to heavy participation.
