Attack on children’s school van in Punjab 2 children killed, 5 injured

Shiite News: Unknown persons opened fire on a school van in Attock district of Punjab province, as a result of which two children were killed while five were injured.

Rescue 1122 confirmed the attack, saying that according to initial reports, the attack took place when the van was taking children to school in Dherikot village.

Rescue 1122 took immediate action and shifted the dead and injured children to the nearest hospital. The identity of the affected children has not yet been released.

According to preliminary information, the van driver is being targeted due to personal enmity. However, according to Rescue 1122, the driver is safe and authorities are investigating the incident.
