Taftan Border: Zaireen protest against non-availability of facilities
Shiite News: Taftan border is the only border between Pakistan and Iran through which pilgrims pass through in large numbers throughout the year. On the way from Quetta to Taftan, pilgrims face many difficulties.
Hot weather, lack of water and absence of food make pilgrims suffer on this route.
Even the pilgrims are not provided any proper place to pray on this route and they pray only on Quetta Taftan Road.
After completing this long and arduous journey, pilgrims reach the Taftan border and there too they face numerous difficulties.
When such a large number of pilgrims arrive, there is no adequate arrangement for drinking water, food, roof, protection from the sun.
When the recent Muharram caravans reached Taftan in large numbers, the pilgrims had to face a lot of difficulties due to non-availability of facilities.
Due to lack of adequate accommodation, water, food and sanitation facilities in extreme heat and confinement, pilgrims registered a protest at Taftan border.
In protest, pilgrims demanded the government and Taftan border administration to provide adequate facilities for such a large number of Pakistani citizens passing through here.
