Ali Abbas embraced martyrdom in Peshawar hospital today

Ali Abbas, a teenager Shia Muslim, embraced martyrdom in the Intensive Care Unit of a Peshawar Hospital on Thursday morning.

He was seriously injured in a suicidal attack in January 2008 when a takfiri nasbi terrorist suicide bomber attacked mourning procession on 7th of Muharram in Mirza Qasim Khan Imam Bargah.

Twelve Shiites were martyred on the spot and 20 including Ali Abbas were wounded. Ali Abbas was only 9 years old when he sustained injuries. He struggled to survive for last 5 years.

At last, he succumbed to fatal wounds on Thursday. His namaz-e-janaza was held in the evening. Thousands of people attended the funeral procession.
