Peshawar: Takfiris terror plan for Muharram foiled

CTD Peshawar foiled the plan of a major sabotage operation in Muharram-ul-Haram while taking action in Okzai district.

Anti-Terrorism Department District Kuram has foiled the sabotage plan in Paharbagh, Zirakkumar and Kazai.

During the operation CTD along with security forces and local police also recovered 6 rocket launchers, 6 RPG boosters, 9 hand grenades, gunpowder, safety fuse, electric detonator and IED made in ghee tin were taken into custody.

CTD Kuram has registered a case and started investigation.

According to the authorities, unknown terrorists were planning a major sabotage operation during Muharram.
