Only state has authority to declare someone as an infidel, Tahir Ashrafi

Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said in a press conference at Lahore Press Club that “Paigham-e-Imam Hussain (AS) conferences” will be held in Muharram.
He said that the scholars reject the idea of extremism, the law will be taken against those who insult the holy things, declaring someone as a “Kafir” is only the authority of the state.
He said that the rights of minorities have been given in the constitution of Pakistan, it is our responsibility not to allow the rights of non-Muslims to be violated in Pakistan. Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that giving inheritance and education to women is obligatory.
He said that it is allowed to hold meetings and conferences in Muharram while staying within the law, the national action plan should be implemented under the pledge of stability of Pakistan, while negotiations should be held on the reservations of political parties on the pledge of stability of Pakistan.

He said that the current government wants to invest in the country instead of borrowing.
The people’s mandate has been insulted by passing the American resolution, PTI and Sunni Ittehad Council members in the assembly did not oppose the American resolution, why did those who said absolutely not support the anti-American resolution, Palestine and Kashmir in the resolution was also mentioned.
