MWM leader slams killing of three police officers in Karachi

MWM Central Deputy General Secretary Allama Ameen Shaheedi has condemned the target-killing incident in which three police officers were killed in the limits of Azizabad police station in Karachi. The officers were martyred as unidentified assailants opened fire on the police van.

He, in a statement, said that takfiri groups wanted to sabotage Karachi operation that is why they targeted law enforcers in the metropolitan.

Allama Shaheedi appreciated the role of armed forces and police in term of maintaining law and order situation in the city. He said that takfiri education promoted violence in the country; religious terrorism owned deep roots in religious seminaries, which required surgical operation.
