Police and judiciary need to improve their performance
The head of takfiri terrorist group of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, arrested on Friday, was released by the court in 2008.
It is learnt that Mohammad Babar, head of a group of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, had been arrested in the past also but he was released later.
It is history of the police and judiciary that many terrorists were arrested but released by the courts. CID Police officials also have a history to blame one group of terrorists for many cases of terrorism so that files of other cases and groups could be closed.
Shia parties and leaders have demanded that CID police and prosecution department’s officials should make strong case against the arrested terrorists and they urged the superior judiciary to rectify the flaws in judicial system. They urged the judiciary not to release the terrorists because they continue to perpetrate genocide of Shia Muslims.
