Petition filed to register FIR of martyr Ali Raza Taqvi’s murder

A petition has been filed in the Court of Additional District and Session Judge District West for registration of an FIR of murder of Ali Raza Taqvi who sacrificed his life in defence of sanctity of Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW).

Head of Jafaria Legal Wing, Tasawur H Rizvi has filed the petition No. 1070/2012 in the court of judge Tariq Shahnawaz on Saturday. The petition seeks to lodge an FIR in which the U.S. Consular General Michael Dodman, Commissioner Karachi, IG Sindh Police, Additional IG Sindh Police and DIG South will be booked for murder of martyr Raza Taqvi.

The FIR is to be lodged with the Jackson Police Station.

Raza Taqvi had reached the U.S. Consulate to register a peaceful protest against the U.S.-made anti-Islam film Innocence of Muslims. Security officials there opened straight fire upon the peaceful protestors leaving Raza Taqvi dead and several others injured.
