PML-N made self-defence the heinous crime in Punjab; 5 Shias sentenced to death penalty
Bhakkar- Biased Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has made the act of self-defence the heinous crime in Punjab province, as five members of Shia community, protecting their locality against the invader of Saudi-backed Ahle Sunnat Waljamaat (ASWJ) in the sectarian riots of 2013 in Bhakkar, were sentenced to the death penalty from the Punjab judiciary.
In the same cases, 187 people have been released by the judiciary, and nine people were sentenced to life in prison. The biased cleric of ASWJ, Hameedullah had designed this sectarian conspiracy in Bhakkar that have devoured the lives of six people, but the biased Punjab government did not take any action against that cleric due to pressure from Saudi Arabia.
In August 2013, the clash between workers of the Ahle Sunnat Waljamaat and members of the Shia community happened after a protest rally by the ASWJ against the police’s failure to apprehend those behind the killing of a shopkeeper. The protest rally by the armed worker of ASWJ attacked the Shia locality, where some Shia people had tried to protect the houses, shops and the lives of the people. During this attack six people were killed.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif also took notice of this clash and openly supported to the members of ASWJ. It is pertinent to mention here that PML-N government always supports terrorists’ banned outfits in Pakistan, while Rana Sanaullah, an important leader of PML-N, is quite famous for having deep connections with the central leader of terrorists’ banned outfit Laskar-e-Jhangvi.
The families of these innocent people are worried over the judiciary decision, and are of the view that this decision is nothing but injustice against Shia community. Talking to Shiite News, they said that they would nock the doors of high court and supreme court for justice.
