Allama Amin Shaheedi meets CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry

allama ameen shaheediAllama Amin Shaheedi, deputy secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has called on Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhry in Quetta.
 Reports had it that Allama Shaheedi had complained to the chief justice that he hadn’t yet taken suo motu notice of genocide of Shia Muslims in Pakistan.
 
Sources said that the Chief Justice replied to him that there were some compulsions that impeded him from taking suo motu notice. However, he assured that he would take due action if they (Shiites) file petition in the Court.
 
Allama Shaheedi had been in Quetta to attend the martyrdom anniversary of the martyrs of Quds Rally in Quetta. Though, the martyrs were martyred in the last Friday of Ramzan but the according to solar calendar, it was September 3 when they were martyred. He met the families of the martyrs and shared condolence with them.
