A terrorists of Hizb ut-Tahrir arrested in Punjab University

Punjab police arrested the Punjab chapter chief of a banned takfiri terrorist group, Hizb ut-Tahrir in the New Campus of Punjab University here on Monday. The terrorist of the banned outfit was distributing hate literature in the New Campus of Punjab University when police took in into their custody. According to Muslim Town police, the University’s administration informed the police authorities that an indentified man was convincing the University’s students to join his terrorist banned outfit and also distributing ‘hate material’ among the students. According to police, the terrorist identified himself as Shaheryar, who had been living in a rented house at Mustafa Town, Wahdat Road. Police said that the terrorist was a former student of a private university, hailing from Hyderabad. The arrested man had been one of the major leaders of the banned outfit in Punjab, police claimed.
