Quetta observes shutter down strike against killing of 7 Shia Hazara’s

strikeShutter down strike is being observed in different parts of the Balochistan’s provincial capital Quetta on Sunday in protest against yesterday’s killing of Seven Shia Hazara’s in two separate incidents of sectarian target killing in Hazarganji and Taftan bus stand.

The City wears a deserted look on the strike call given by the coalition of Shia and Hazara parties coalition, Quetta Solidarity Council against the barbaric incidents of target killings of innocent Pakistani citiznes.

The Quetta Solidarity Council appeal of strike was also endorsed by the Balochistan Shia Conference and Hazara Democratic Party against the massacre of seven persons in Quetta.

Different parts of the city including Alamdar Road, Marri Abad Hazara Town observing shutter down strike. The shops and business centres are closed and traffic also remained thin, while the city wears a forlorn look after this gruesome incident.

Meanwhile, the burial of seven persons killed in Hazarganji incident took place yesterday night in Hazara Town graveyard.

FIR of the incident was also registered last night, while two teams have been constituted for further investigations. The banned terrorists outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi had claimed the responsibility of the killing of innocent Shia Hazara’s in Quetta on yesterday.
