A protest day to be observed on Friday in Sindh

Shikarpur – Shuhda Committee of Shikarpur Incident has announced that Shia Muslims will observe Friday (April 17) as a ‘protest day’ against the criminal negligence of Sindh Government toward the approval of demands made by the families of martyrs.
This announcement was made by Alama Muqsood Ali Domnki at a press conference held at Karbala Imambargah-O-Jama Musjid Shikarpur here on Wednesday.
Alama Muqsood Ali Domnki said that a referendum will also be conducted in the whole province of Sindh during 17 to 19 April against the ongoing terrorism and the supporters of terrorists. Provincial leader of MWM Alama Nishan Haider Sajdi and Abdullah Mutahiri, Alama Ali Bux Sajdi, Alama Mushtaq Mushhadi, Alama Mukhtat Hussain, Ashraf Ali Asadi of Asgharia Organisation, and many others were also present on the occasion.
It is worth mentioning that 57 Shia Muslims were martyred in the suicide bomb attack during the Jumma prayer at Karbala Imambargah-O-Jama Musjid few months back.
Earlier, Shuhda Committee of Shikarpur Incident, comprises on various Shia political parties, held a meeting to discuss the issues related to the upcoming protest. Alama Muqsood Ali Domnki apprised the meeting about development made between the committee and Sindh Government.
