Pakistan play mediator role in Saudia-Yemen War, MQM’s Tahir Mashahdi

Muttahida Qaumi Movement Senator Tahir Hussain Mashhadi said that Pakistani troops are already engaged in a difficult war against terrorists and we cannot afford to entangle them in another war. 

Addressing the 3rd day of Joint session of the parliament discussing Pakistan’s role in Yemen war, He said Pakistan enjoys a special stature in the comity of Islamic countries and it should work for bringing the Muslim countries closer together. He said Pakistan should make efforts for ceasefire amongst warring factions in Yemen and also send humanitarian aid there.
He said that Pakistan should play mediator role in the war between two Muslim countries saying that we are still suffering the repercussion of Afhgan war.
