Banned outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi has revealed its plans to attack the officers of Rangers, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and SSP Malir. A Threat Letter released by the Intelligence Agency state that Lashkar-e-Jhangvi’s two groups have reached Karachi to ensure any of the three targets within 48 hours. Intelligence Agency has also warned the officials of Rangers, CTD and SSP Malir Rao Anwar regarding security measures and to keep a close eye on terrorists and their movements.

Sources say that the troika of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Tehreek-e-Taliban and Jundullah have been involved in target killing of Police and Rangers officials as well in Bomb Blasts around Sindh especially Karachi, avenging their colleagues arrests, killings and recent hangings.

Speaking to media, a senior official of sindh police said that since the arrest of Shikarpur incident’s mastermind, Lashkar-e-Jhanvi has planned to do the accord in order to demoralize Law Enforcement Agencies.
