Saudi-funded Taliban assassinates a Peace committee leader in Tank

A peace committee leader was martyred and two others were injured when Wahhabis-allied Saudi-funded Deobandi takfiri gunmen opened fire at the commander’s vehicle in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank district.

According to Gomal police Station House Officer (SHO) Alamgir, peace committee leader Sherpao Mehsud was on his way from Kot Azam to Tank when Deobandi Taliban fanatics targeted his vehicle. However, Dunya News reported that Chief of peace committee Sherpao Mehsud lost his life while two volunteers sustained injuries in a militants’ rocket attack in Tank today (Tuesday).

As a result, Mehsud was killed and two of his associates, who were travelling with him, sustained injuries.

The casualties were shifted to District Hospital Tank immediately.

Peace committee members in the country’s northwestern region have been targeted by Deobandi takfiri militants numerous times in the past. It is relevant to add here that Deobandis were Hanafi Sunni before Afghan war of 1980s when they were funded by Saudi-Wahhabi monarchy that was aided by U.S. administration. Many of them were converted to Wahhabi-takfirism due to Saudi-CIA training during Afghan war against ex-U.S.S.R. that was hijacked by the U.S.-led West through Saudi Wahhabi monarchy.
