Sunni Muslims of Pakistan announces support to Yemen against Saudi war
Sunni and Shia Muslims of Pakistan have condemned unilateral and unjustifiable Saudi-led military aggression on Arab Muslim nation Yemen and expressed their solidarity with oppressed Yemenis.
Leaders of Sunni Ittehad Council (Sunni Parties Alliance) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan-Niazi (JUP-Nz) visited the office of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Punjab chapter in Lahore where they thrashed out joint course of action to protest the pro-Israeli war coalition of U.S.-allied Arab monarchs and dictators against Yemen.
Sunni officials of Sunni alliance and parties namely Pir Syed Usman Noori, Dr Amjad Chishti, Pir Syed Abid Ali Shah, Khwaja Habib ur Rehman, Dr Syed Noor ul Mustafa Qadri, Syed Asif Ali Shah Bukhari of JUP-Nz and Rana Ashraf Ali of Sunni Ittehad Council were seen at the joint media briefing after the meeting.
Together with Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi, Allama Iqbal Kamrani and Asad Abbas of MWM, these Sunni religious parties’ leaders condemned the Pakistan government’s pro-Saudi stance against Yemen.
They made it clear that none of the Yemenis attacked any neighbouring country, let alone Saudi Wahhabi monarchy. They said that Yemeni Houthis and their allies have not perpetrated any terrorist attacks in Yemen or in the countries that imposed war on Yemen.
They warned the PMLN government of the consequences of the pro-Saudi and anti-Yemen foreign policy because Saudi monarchy neither represents Islam nor democracy. They said that Saudi-led coalition is an ally of U.S.-led coalition of the willing that perpetrated military aggression in Afghanistan (OEF) and Iraq (OIF) and U.S. military, air and naval forces, Special Forces, CIA and DIA are stationed in those countries.
Sunni and Shia leaders said that illogical, unlawful and immoral, anti-Islam, anti-Arab and anti-humanity war of Saudi-led Decisive Storm Coalition was launched to expand strategic depth of illegitimate state of Israel because Houthi-led Yemenis and their allies are anti-Israel and anti-imperialist nationalist and Islamist Muslim Arab Yemenis. They said that more than 137 Houthis/Zaydis of Yemen were martyred in suicide bombings of two mosques during Friday prayers and ISIL/ISIS (Daish) claimed responsibility for the bombings. Yemenis are being targeted by Saudi-Wahhabis-allied Daish (ISIL), al-Qaida on one side and Saudi-led coalition bombardments on the other side.
They announced countrywide protest if the PMLN government and pro-Saudi people don’t rescind their support to pro-Israel attack on Yemen. They said Yemen’s territorial integrity was violated because Yemen was invaded by Saudis and allied-dictators.
