Two Shias seek mercy from President against death sentence

arestLiaquat Jafri and Ishaq Ashar Kazmi have sought mercy from President Asif Zardari after Supreme Court rejected their appeal against the death sentence awarded to them in a murder case.

Their letters seeking mercy were sent to Presidency two days ago, their relatives confirmed it to the Shiite News on Monday.
Jafri and Kazmi were falsely implicated in the case of murder of Molvi Mukhtar Sial who had been making speeches against the Ahle-Bait (AS). Liaquat Jafri was 16 years old some 19 years ago when he was wrongly booked, held and imprisoned in this case. Another Shia youth Ishaq Ashar Kazmi was also pronounced death sentence in same case 16 years ago.

The nasbi Wahhabi elements colluded with the investigators and misled the courts and finally got death sentence for these innocent Shias.

Now, they have filed applications with the Presidency requesting mercy against the death sentence awarded to them. They deserve life in a country where genocide of Shia Muslims continues unabated.
