Fifty nine suspended employees reinstated on jobs in Gilgit-Baltistan

Gilgit-MapFifty nine employees of Gilgit-Baltistan government have been reinstated on their jobs, it is learnt here on Saturday.

These employees were suspended from their jobs for their alleged role in failing government plan to expel Allama Nasir Abbas Jafri from the province and impose a 90 days ban on his entry into the province.

People of the province had called it a victimization of government employees. People had unanimously demanded of the government to reinstate the suspended employees. Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen had warned that they would launch a stiff protest campaign against the government if these employees were not reinstated on their jobs by last Friday of Ramzan.

Allama Aijaz Behishti, a leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has said that some employees including a deputy education officer were not among those reinstated on their jobs. They would also be reinstated soon.
