PTI’s KP govt urged to meet demands of heirs of Masjid-e-Imamia’s martyrs
Like PPP Government in Sindh, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf government in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa province too fails to act upon the action plan on the accepted demands of heirs of Shia martyrs who embraced martyrdom due to suicide bombing and firing in Masjid-e-Imamia, Hayatabad of Peshawar.
Allama Nazir Hussain Mutahri, prayer leader of the Masjid-e-Imamia (Shia Mosque), presided over a meeting of Shia notables who discussed the post-Feb.13 situation. Many Shia Muslims were martyred and scores were injured in the Deobandi takfiri terrorist attack in which suicide bombers and gunmen participated and also threw hand grenades.
Allama Mutahri said that PTI’s KP government assured that all their demands would be met and action would begin but neither the injured and heirs of the martyrs were paid compensatory amounts, nor foolproof security plan has so far been implemented.
He said that after review of the entire situation they concluded that PTI government was delinquent and slow pace on the action plan on demands trigger resentment and disappointment among the terrorism-victims. He said that heirs want protest movement to be launched against the government. He will disclose future course of action on Friday.
