Deobandi ASWJ’s Karachi terror plot foiled as explosives recovered

On Friday, security officials foiled a bid of Deobandi takfiri terrorists of the ASWJ who plotted for a massive terror plan to inflict huge devastation on the Sindh province’s capital city Karachi that is commercial capital of Pakistan.

 

The law-enforcement agencies recovered 30-kilogram explosives from a house in Baldia Ittehad Town, abandoned by TTP-allied ASWJ/LeJ terrorists. Baldia Town is known for their hideouts.

Moving on a piece of information gathered from an arrested operative of a banned Deobandi outfit ASWJ/Taliban, the security forces conducted a raid on a derelict house located in Baldia Ittehad Town and took in custody a cache of 30-kg explosive material.

Concealed in two sacks, the commercial explosive material comprises 160 rods. The experts of bomb disposal squad are of the view that at least 30 bombs could be made out of this material. Later, the BDS officials neutralized the explosives
