Shia Muslims stage protest after funeral of martyrs of Shakrial Imam Bargah

Namaz-e-Janaza of the martyrs of Imam Bargah Qasr-e-Sakina Bint ul Hussain (AS) Shakrial was held on Expressway in Rawalpindi on Thursday. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, led the funeral prayers and then led the Shia protestors who staged a sit-in there.

Amid the slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS), the funeral procession began. Highly charged Shia Muslims raised slogans against the PMLN government and Wahhabis-allied takfiri Deobandi terrorists.

Protestors demanded accountability of the PMLN government’s pro-takfiri figures and public hanging of the terrorists.

4 Shia Muslims embraced martyrdom due to a terrorist attack by takfiris on an Imam Bargah in the surroundings of Rawalpindi on Wednesday evening. Imam Bargah Qasr-e-Sakina of Shakrial is family Imam Bargah of Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen.

Hospital sources disclosed to the Shiite News that 2 Shia Muslims namely Syed Sakhawat and Sajid Ali Shah, Abdul Shakoor and Ghulam Hussain embraced martyrdom. Some injured remained under treatment.
