Updated: 4 Shia Muslims martyred in terrorist attack on Rawalpindi Imam Bargah
4 Shia Muslims embraced martyrdom due to a terrorist attack by takfiris on an Imam Bargah in the surroundings of Rawalpindi on Wednesday evening. Imam Bargah Qasr-e-Sakina of Shakrial is family Imam Bargah of Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen.
Wahhabis-allied Deobandi takfiri terrorists stormed into Imam Bargah Qasr-e-Sakina in Shakrial where they sprayed barrages of bullets and also threw hand grenades. Despite the terrorist attack, some brave Shiites tried to stop them.
Reports had it that the terrorists wanted to detonate their suicidal explosive-laden jackets but they failed to do so. And one of the terrorists, according to initial reports, was killed.
Hospital sources disclosed to the Shiite News that 2 Shia Muslims namely Syed Sakhawat and Sajid Ali Shah embraced martyrdom. A Shia shopkeeper Abdul Shakoor and another Ghulam Hussain also breathed their last due to the attack, it was made known later. Some injured remained under treatment.
Security Guards bravely resisted and foiled their attempt to detonate. But, terrorists succeeded in firing and hand gernade explosion. Rangers cops said that martyrdoms were caused by firing.
Shia party Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen condmened the attack and announced 3-days mourning on the terrorist attack on Imam Bargah Qasr-e-Sakina (AS) Bintul Hussain (AS). 2
