Karachi accords historic welcome showering Shia Long March with rose petals
Karachi-based Shia Muslims, their allied Sunni and secular parties and civil society accorded historic welcome to Shia Muslims Labbaik Ya Hussain March on Tuesday night.
New readers should know that the Committee of Heirs of Shikarpur’s martyrs had to resort to commercial shutdown strike and long march due to government’s inaction against the takfiri terrorists who masterminded and abetted suicide bombing during Shia Friday prayer in Syed-ush-Shohada Karbala Moalla Mosque and Imam Bargah situated in Lakhi Dar area in Shikarpur. More than 72 Shia Muslims were martyred due to suicide bombing by Deobandi takfiri terrorist there.
It was a historic moment in the lives of young Shiites as they became eye-witness to the Shia mass strength. Heirs and families of Shia Muslims martyred in Karachi and their young children received them warmly at Wadi-e-Hussain (AS) Graveyard where many eminent Shiite martyrs were laid to rest.
Civil Society’s activists also hosted a reception camp there. And their activists also escorted the Long March cavalcade. After pilgrimage of martyrs shrines and graves, the Long March proceeded to Shahrah-e-Pakistan near Sadat Colony Incholi.
There, miles long congregation awaited them. Amid slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) and having been showered with rose petals, the heirs of Shikarpur’s martyrs saw an enthusiastic crowd. Sunni parties’ officials and MQM’s legislators also visited the reception rally there and expressed their support and solidarity with the Shia Muslims, the most-hit victims of Wahhabis-allied Deobandi takfiri terrorism.
