mwm 110The caravans from all over Pakistan and from Azad Jammu and Kashmir start reaching Lahore from today to attend Quran-O-Sunnat Conference to be held on Sunday.
The Shiite News Correspondent from Lahore reported that caravans from Parachinar, other parts of Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Sindh province alongside AJK have started reaching Lahore.

More caravans are on their way. There are reports that many caravans belonging to interior of Punjab will reach Minar-e-Pakistan Ground early on Sunday.

Pakistanis and in particular Shias have attacked great importance to this conference because it is a great show of support and strength of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen’s supporters. Alongside it is a show of unity of Muslims in Pakistan.

Religious and national fervor dominates people because they consider it is legacy of great martyr leader Allama Arif Hussaini. He had introduced Quran-O-Sunnat Conference to strengthen unity of Muslims. The conference is being held in July to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Allama Hussaini.

Allama Hussaini was martyred on August 5, 1988 but this year, the anniversary falls in the month of Ramazan in which Muslims hold fast.
