Quran-O-Sunnat Conference: Millat-e-Jafaria vowed heavy turnout despite security threats

Public 25 marchMillat-e-Jafaria has vowed to heavily participate in Quran-O-Sunnat Conference Lahore on July 1 despite the reports of security threats being published in Lahore-based newspapers.
Shiite News has conducted a survey in which it was seen that the reports of security threats have not scared Shia Muslims. Instead, it bolstered their feelings in favour of the conference.

Mohammad Haider Rizvi, 55, of Imamia Colony Lahore, said that he would attend the conference at all cost. He said that children, youths and elderly persons represented their age-group in Karbala and he would be at the conference acting upon the tradition of Habib son of Mazahir. He vowed to defeat the enemies’ conspiracies.

Asad Ali, 19, a resident of Faisalabad said that Hazrat Abbas (AS) is his ideal and he would carry flag of Islam while he would enter into Minar-e-Pakistan ground.

A 63 year old woman of Faisalabad said that she had two sons and she ordered both of them to participate in the conference. She too will attend it. She said it is the best to side with righteous and pious people because it is the way of Allah and Imam. She said martyrdom in this way is also welcome.

Hussain Ali, 30, a resident of Karachi said he was going to attend the conference along with his 7 years old son. He said he didn’t care what security concerns are.

A 69-year old Ali Asghar of Orangi Town Karachi has lost two of his legs in a mishap. He said that Allah has given him an opportunity to rally this huge congregation of Millat-e-Jafaria. He said he is follower of Karbala and he was not scared of security threats.

These are reactions from Shia Muslims to the reports of security threats and concerns about the conference.
