Quran-O-Sunnat Conference: Millat-e-Jafaria concerned over Punjab government’s cold response, inadequate security
On the one hand, preparations for Quran-O-Sunnat Conference are in full swing, and on the other Punjab Government’s cold response to shoulder its responsibility about relevant arrangements including appropriate security measures.
Millat-e-Jafaria has expressed concern over the inappropriate security measures. Talking to Shiite News, Mubarak Mousavi, a central leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has said that it was surprising for them that Punjab government lacked interest in adopting adequate security measures.
He said that terrorists were involved in perpetrating terrorism in all over the country. He recalled that local newspapers of Lahore were publishing news that there were security threats but Punjab government has not shouldered its responsibility for tight security for our conference.
Wahdat Scouts and Imamia Scouts have intensified their activities for security of the conference.
