Talks between Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and the Committee of Heirs of Shikarpur Massacre’s Martyrs that were held on Wednesday bore no fruit because the CM refused to meet the demands of the heirs of the Shia martyrs.

Chief Minister Sindh visited Shikarpur and held a meeting with the Committee of the Martyrs’ Heirs. He desire that the call for protest, shutdown strike and long march should be taken back, according to some participants of the meeting who shared their views with Shiite News.

The Committee put legitimate demands forward that a targeted military operation against the takfiris be launched to purge the province of takfiri terrorists. But, Qaim Ali Shah refused to meet that demand and talks proved fruitless.

Observers of the Shia politics are of the views that deadlock would not end as long as the PPP’s Sindh Government continues inaction against the takfiri terrorists of outlawed outfits and their allies in other political and religious groups.

Allama Maqsood Domki, head of the Martyrs’ Heirs Committee, announced that the call for shutter-down strike and Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) March was not withdrawn. They appealed to the allied parties and the supporters to remain in direct contact with the Heirs of Shikarpur Martyrs Committee and ignore the false propaganda by the pro-government and pro-takfiris against the protest strike and long march.

He said that main demand of the victims’ heirs and relatives is targeted military operation against the takfiris to crush their network in all over Sindh.
