Global convergence is needed to avoid humanitarian crises in Afghanistan, General Bajwa

Shiite News: Chief of the Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that there is a need for global convergence to avoid humanitarian crises in Afghanistan. He expressed such views while a meeting with the Senior Civil Representative of NATO, Stefano Pontecorvo at GHQ.

According to ISPR, both officials discussed matters of mutual interest, peace, and stability in the region. They also talked about the current situation in Afghanistan.

The visiting dignitary admired the role of Pakistan in the Afghan situation including successful evacuation operations and efforts for regional stability.
