We kept the foundation stone of National peace and progress, General Bajwa

Shiite News: Chief of Army Staff General Bajwa said despite hardships and a number of sacrifices we kept the foundation stone of peace and progress of the country. He expressed such views while addressing the convocation ceremony at Government College University, Lahore as a chief guest. On this occasion Chancellor GCU, Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar was also present.

General Bajwa further appreciated the efforts of teachers and administrators of university for grooming intelligent youth of the country and making their academy a prominent position among the other educational institutes of Pakistan.

He also expressed hope of well-being in Pakistan in the future. At the end of the ceremony, he gave Degrees and Medals to recently graduated students of the university.
