A martyr of Karbala Moalla Imam Bargah bombing buried in Lahore

A Shia Muslim of Lahore namely Syed Qamar Abbas Kazmi also embraced martyrdom in suicide bombing in the Friday prayer congregation at Masjid and Imam Bargah Karbala Moalla in Lakhi Dar area of Shikarpur. He was laid to rest in Lahore on Saturday.

Funeral of martyr Qamar Abbas Kazmi was held under the aegis of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen. His coffin was brought in a procession outside Lahore Press Club where his namaz-e-janaza was held.

Sunni politicians of political parties such as Ijaz Chaudhry of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Sajid Bhatti of Pakistan Awami Tehrik, Malik Abid Abdullah of Civil Society and Lahore Press Club’s President Arshad Ansari, also attended the funeral.

It was a show of Sunni-Shia unity and Sunni politicians said they are allies of Shia Muslims in war against takfiris and terrorists.

Thousands of the mourners attended the namaz-e-janaza and funeral procession. He was laid to rest amid slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS).
