Restrictions against Azadari may invite sit-in protests, SUC

Shiite News: President of SUC Northern Punjab Allama Syed Sibtain Haider Sabzwari said that Pakistan had never been a sectarian state while so many sects lived there and honored each other’s faiths while Azadari was not against either government or anyone except Yazidi mindset. Ahle Sunnat were our brothers and they used to assist us in mourn procession and gathering.

He made it clear while addressing a press conference at Lahore that Azadari was our lifeblood and we were ready to die for it, no compromise on either routes or venues of mourn activities or regarding time would acceptable. He demanded for immediate cancellation of baseless FIRs lodged against Azadari and directives to halt new masajid and imambargahs. He added that police was playing worst role by reducing duration or routes of mourn procession or gathering in special branch’s record. Wrong use of fourth schedule should be stopped and CTD should be controlled regarding its unjustified activites otherwise all Ashura Processions of the country could be turned into peaceful sit-in protest against the biased behavior of rulers with Azadari-e-Imam Hussain Alaih Salam.
