Shia Ulema assure Sindh Govt. to observe Azadari with SOPs

Shiite News: A meeting to ensure inter-sect harmony was held at CM House, Karachi under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Murad Ali Shah to discuss religious unity, code of ethics for Muharram-ul-Haram and other affairs.

Addressing the meeting CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said in the light of law and order in the province the next 3 month were very important there, in which his government will provide every facility to religious followers to perform their rituals according to their faiths.

He further said that Karachi was a mega city of the country which had been badly affected by the Corona Pandemic for the last Two years, therefore, we are looking to take some important steps to control the situation. Some measures were also needed because of the ongoing political situation of neighboring Afghanistan, So, the strategy which would come up at a governmental level will be followed everywhere.

He added that the defined routes will be limited for everyone while Zyreen would not be abled to go on pilgrimages to the holy places within the country or abroad.

He said a committee would be formed to ensure peace and all the issues will be settled through talk. Ulema-e-Karam honored the speech of CM Sindh and assured him their utmost cooperation in this regard.

Special Assistant to CM Sindh Waqar Mehdi, DG Rangers, Shia and Sunni Ulema and elders were also present at the meeting.
