A particular mindset trying to push Shia Muslims to wall

rajanasir abbasAllama Nasir Abbas Jafri, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has said that Shia religious scholars should play leading role to drive Shia Muslims out of disappointment.
Speaking to religious scholars and prayer leaders at Khwajgan Qaumi Markaz, he said in Lahore, Sunni Bralevis are majority and after them Shia Muslims are second majority in Pakistan but powerful quarters ignore Shia Muslims because they have no political power.

He said that media also pays no attention to Shia problems and all these conditions have pushed Shias to disappointment. He urged religious scholars to play leading role and make July 1 Lahore Conference of the MWM a success.

To a question, Allama Jafri said that before the establishment of MWM, he contacted the office of Supreme Leader on the advice of a great leader from where he got the message that inaction of Shias should end in Pakistan. He said that he considered those believing in guardianship of Islamic jurisprudent part of the MWM.

Emphasizing on the need of collective efforts, he said, Pharoahs would dominate the society if we continue to strive individually. He said that Islam is a complete and perfect religion and code of life and it has political system in the form guardianship of Islamic jurisprudent. He said that youths would participate in other parties if we don’t introduce Islam’s true political system. He said that this trend would bring communists, socialists and nationalists forward in the society.

He said that infallible Imams struggled against the obsolete dictatorial system for 250 years. He said that now Shia people feel pain of others of their brothers. He said that Quran wa Ahl-e-Bait Conference in Karachi has encouraged Shias.

Allama Jafri said that MWM would try its best to punish the killers of religious scholars including Allama Arif Hussaini and others.
