IUF calls for protest against Blasphemy on 9th July
Shiite News: Ittihad-e-Ummat Forum (IUF) an alliance of Shia Ulema Council, Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Ulema-e-Jamiat-ul-Muntazir and other Shia organizations in Pakistan has declared a countrywide protest against Blasphemy of Aima-e-Tahireen on Friday, 9th July. While addressing a press conference on this issue at Lahore Press Club Allama Sibtain Sabzwari, Allama Hassan Raza Hamdani, Allama Amjad Ali Abidi, Hafiz Kazim Raza Naqvi and other leaders expressed their deep concern over the recent audio containing blasphemy of Aima-e-Athaar and called for protests after Namaz-e-Juma congregation outside all the Masajid in Pakistan.
He further said that the dignity, honor, sanctity and reverence of Imam Musa Kazim, Imam Muhammad Taqi and Imam Ali Naqi (Alaihim-us-Salam) was established and upheld among all the school of thoughts and sects of Islam but unfortunately a miscreant named Abdur Rehman Salafi viral an audio on social media in which he dared to make ugly remarks against said holy descendants of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and threw a tide of resentment among all the Muslims in the country. He added that unanimously all the Muslims of Pakistan were demanding for the immediate arrest and punish hard of the culprit.
He also praised the Stand of Ulema-e-Ahle Sunnat and extended his thanks to them on renouncing and condemning the act of recent blasphemy along with demand for arrest of perpetrators
